Join us for the third annual Women, Wine and Wisdom: An Intimate Conversation Around Soulful Living and Spritual Journeys with Rabbi Dana Saroken and Sarah Hurwitz. This event is a community builder, a chance to connect with friends and make new ones. Therefore, this event is open seating. Reserved seating is ONLY available with the purchase of a full table (10 people) by one person. SARAH HURWITZ is an American speechwriter, serving as senior speechwriter for President Barack Obama in 2009 and 2010, and head speechwriter for First LadyMichelle Obama from 2010 to 2017. A Massachusetts native, Hurwitz attended Harvard University and Harvard Law School. Hurwitz also worked on policy issues affecting young women and girls as a senior advisor to the White House Council on Women and Girls. In 2016, she was named one of the Forward’s fifty more influential Jewish Americans. Here All Along is her first book.

DANA SAROKEN is the founder and spiritual director of The Soul Center and is a Rabbi at Beth El Congregation, the largest Conservative synagogue in Baltimore. She was honored by Jewish Women International as one of their “10 Women to Watch” in 2017. She is currently a part of the national clergy cohort at the Institute for Jewish Spirituality and the National Kenissa initiative for start ups.  Rabbi Saroken is widely recognized for her ability to make Judaism personal, accessible and inspiring to all.
